Favourite place in Asia

When I tell people that I travelled three months in South-East Asia, the question ‘what was your favourite place?’ often pops up. I find this question extremely hard, because it depends mainly on your own experience at a place and the people you meet there. Due to this reason, you might have an aweful time when you go to my favourite place. Nevertheless, I’ll try to answer this question in the following blogpost.

Saying goodbye

Evy,

You left Melbourne (and me) this morning, to go back to the outback. I’m sad that you left, but also proud that you’re doing your own thing again. You always wanted to go back to the farm where you spent five months last year. It was hard to make the final decision, but it felt good for you right away after you made it.

Oops, I didn’t write a blogpost for two months… The reason is that I just didn’t feel like it. I was busy enjoying my travels (and lots of beers) and there was no time left for writing. Because I also didn’t want to put too much pressure on myself, I just let the blog be what it was until I found new inspiration to write. And here I am again!

Overloads and temples

My 10 (!!!) days in Siem Reap mainly existed of drinking too much and visiting temples. The idea was to spend 6 days in Siem Reap, but Evy’s flight got changed and I found my Cambodian family ♥️. Turns out that you can make a lot of friends when you’re spending 10 days in a party hostel.
